Live from the YouTube Space in Los Angeles, Americans will witness the first telethon in history with the goal of raising no money.
Instead of dollars, Telethon for America will take pledges from viewers like you to vote in the midterm election on November 6th and to bring your friends with you to the polls.
It’s a first-of-its-kind live-streamed telethon where you’ll be able to call in for a chance to speak with a whole bunch of cool celebrities, such as: Pharrell, Chelsea Handler, Olivia Munn, Jane Fonda, Judd Apatow, Jessica Alba, Natalie Portman, Justin Theroux, Foster the People, Kevin Smith, Meghan Trainor, and Amy Schumer!
THE TELETHON FOR AMERICA, created by comedian/actor & TV Host Ben Gleib, is a non-partisan get-out-the-vote initiative with the stated goal of raising zero money – the singular goal is taking pledges to increase voter turnout. The event is powered by ‘When We All Vote,’ a non-partisan, non-profit campaign launched by Michelle Obama.
